A well-established and growing surveying firm is seeking an experienced Senior Land / Measured Building Surveyor to join their team supporting key projects across the South East region, primarily around Banbury, Brackley and Aylesbury. This role is ideal for an experienced survey professional with strong site engineering, setting-out and measured surveying ability who wants long-term career progression within a supportive, RICS regulated organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a wide range of site surveying duties including setting out, levelling, establishing site control and as-built surveys.
  • Complete monitoring surveys, cut-and-fill calculations and produce high-quality reports.
  • Support the planning, execution and delivery of surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Manage resources, equipment and survey data in line with company procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with surveyors and assistant surveyors, offering guidance where required.
  • Liaise confidently with clients, contractors and stakeholders on site.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times and uphold strong health & safety standards.

Required Experience:

  • Ideally 5+ years' industry experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' hands-on setting out experience.
  • Strong practical background with proven on-site learning.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, surveying instruments (manual + robotic Total Station), and general site engineering principles.
  • Candidates who meet most of the criteria but not all will still be considered if they can demonstrate strong relevant experience.
