Renowned for its supportive culture, investment in its people, and long-term career opportunities, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior HGV / Heavy Plant Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with specialist equipment, and being part of a company where expertise is genuinely valued.

You'll work both from the Bicester workshop and at customer sites across the UK, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist machinery including concrete mixers, pumps, batching plants, silos and volumetric mixers.

Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, service and maintain specialist heavy plant and HGV equipment.

Carry out advanced fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.

Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of machinery.

Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues when required.

Attend customer sites to diagnose faults and deliver high levels of customer service.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop and service operation.

About You Proven experience as a Senior HGV Engineer, Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar.

Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.

Experience working with 12V, 24V and ideally 3-phase electrical systems.

High-level expertise across mechanics, hydraulics, 12/24V & 3-Phase electrics, electronics and diagnostics Able to work independently and professionally on customer sites.

Full UK Driving Licence.
