As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible to set up of machines to ensure that quality parts are achieved.
This will include the operation of machines, inspection of finished products and completion of paperwork for despatch. Interpret drawings, process sheets and set up of machines . Ensure high standards of parts are delivered Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working in the workshop. Follow safe systems of works and legislative requirements What We're Looking For Experience in setting and operating machine tools (Manual and CNC) Knowledge and application of safe working practices Knowledge and experience in quality systems and procedures Knowledge of reading and interpreting component drawings and process sheets would be beneficial as well as using variety of precision measuring instruments Knowledge of machine tool setting procedures Previous experience of working in a similar engineering environment High degree of numerical ability Computer Literate Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail This position is subject to the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires the jobholder to obtain certain authorisation or security clearances that will require interface with local & US government authorities.
