Our client, a specialist contractor within the conservation and restoration sector, is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor with estimating experience to join their growing commercial team in Glasgow. The Opportunity
You'll be joining a close-knit, supportive team working on the repair and restoration of historic and specialist buildings. Projects regularly include stonework, slate roofing, lime mortars, joinery, and leadwork, meaning no two jobs are the same. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the preparation and submission of tenders and pricing documents
- Assisting with cost plans, valuations, and variation assessments
- Carrying out site measurements and assisting with ongoing project monitoring
- Producing material take-offs and supporting procurement activity
- Helping manage subcontractor packages and contract documentation
- Supporting cost control processes and project financial tracking
- Working closely with site teams, suppliers, and clients
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting
What We're Looking For
- Around 2 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or a hybrid role
- Background in construction
- Strong numerical and commercial awareness
