We are a growing and well-regarded construction business seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive new project opportunities and support continued growth. This is a pure new business role. You will not inherit an existing client base or account portfolio. Success will come from your ability to identify opportunities, open doors with decision makers, and convert early engagement into secured work.

The role suits a commercially driven individual who thrives on winning work, building relationships, and being rewarded for performance.

As our Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, targeting, and securing new project opportunities across the construction market
  • Building and developing relationships with main contractors, developers, and client-side stakeholders
  • Gaining early visibility of upcoming projects and position the business at pre-tender stage
  • Developing and managing a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Achieving placement on tender lists and frameworks
  • Maintaining consistent BD activity through meetings, networking, and industry engagement
  • Working closely with internal teams to support bids, tenders, and proposals
  • Ensuring opportunities transition smoothly into pre-construction and delivery teams
