Business Development Manager β Architectural Solutions
Location: Home-based, 1β2 days per month at our client's Glasgow office
Salary: Β£80,000 base + uncapped commission, OTE Β£120,000
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Our client is an established international business known for premium interior solutions, proven in one of the toughest environments there is: the marine sector.
They're now taking that product into European hotels and architectural projects, and they need an experienced sales professional to build the market from scratch.
The role β Business Development Manager
You'll get the product specified early by architects and interior designers, follow projects through tender, and convert them into high-value contracts.
It's a genuine ground-floor opportunity with real autonomy and direct access to senior leadership.
Day to day, you will:
- Identify major hospitality and commercial projects across Europe
- Build relationships with architects, designers, hotel groups, developers and contractors
- Get the product specified at design stage and support it through tender and procurement
- Build a pipeline from scratch and help shape the market entry strategy
- Represent the business at key industry events
You'll need:
- Proven B2B project sales experience in a specification-led environment
- A track record of selling premium products through architects, designers or developers
- Understanding of specification and tender processes
- Experience winning new business or opening new markets
- Fluent English and willingness to travel across Europe
It would be great if you had:
Background in hospitality fit-out, architectural products, commercial interiors, modular construction or building products
