If you're an experienced HGV Mechanic who enjoys working independently, solving problems on-site, and dealing with a wide variety of heavy vehicles and equipment, this role offers the freedom and technical challenge you're used to.
We are a leading materials-handling specialist in Scotland, supplying and supporting premium brands including Mitsubishi, Aislemaster, Combilift, Baumann Sideloaders and Kalmar heavy trucks. With one of the largest independent rental fleets in Scotland, we provide fast, reliable engineering support to customers who rely on well-maintained equipment to keep their operations moving. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled HGV-background engineer to join our mobile team, supporting customers across Glasgow.
What the Role Involves
- Diagnose, service and repair a range of heavy equipment including forklifts, trucks and specialist materials-handling machinery
- Attend customer sites across Glasgow, managing your own workload and daily schedule
- Work closely with local engineers and our wider technical support teams
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism

What We're Looking For
You'll be well suited to this role if you have experience as an:
- HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician
- Bus / Truck Mechanic
- Plant Engineer
- Agricultural Engineer
- Forklift or Heavy Equipment Engineer
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Good all-round heavy mechanical knowledge (engines, hydraulics, transmissions, braking systems, electrics, etc.)
- A customer-focused attitude
- A full UK driving licence
