Dunwall are supporting an established independent financial advisory firm in Surrey seeking an experienced Client Service Adviser / Financial Adviser to join its close-knit team. This is a relationship-focused advisory role within a boutique firm providing personalised pension and investment advice to a loyal high-net-worth client base. The business prioritises long‑term client care and quality advice over sales targets or KPI‑driven environments. The successful candidate will inherit responsibility for servicing an established client portfolio while working closely with senior leadership, offering clear progression toward increased responsibility and potential future leadership or equity opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing servicing and financial advice to an established client bank
- Maintain and develop long‑term client relationships
- Conduct client reviews across pensions, investments, and holistic financial planning
- Identify opportunities within existing client relationships
- Support inheritance tax and estate planning strategies (training provided)
- Work collaboratively with compliance and administration teams
- Maintain FCA regulatory standards and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of client service processes
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified Financial Adviser authorised to provide regulated advice
- Diploma qualified (Level 4 minimum)
- Strong client servicing and relationship management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience advising high‑net‑worth individuals
- Exposure to discretionary investment management
- Strong technical or paraplanning background
Desirable
- Chartered Financial Planner status (or working towards)
