We are looking for a Casual Zero-Hours Weekend Drivers Mate (Driving) to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile!

As garden building specialists, we’re proud to deliver our products directly to our customers using our very own fleet, ensuring care and quality every step of the way.

The Role: This job is based out of our Faversham Branch - ME13 9HY and the ideal candidate may be offered shifts supporting the driver with deliveries by assisting with loading, unloading, navigation, and ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery service.

  • Helping the driver to safely secure the load onto the vehicle
  • Assisting the driver with deliveries, as per the driver’s requests and aiding with navigation
  • Complying with health and safety rules and regulations
  • Keeping your vehicle clean
  • Unloading the goods to customers with assistance of the driver
  • Represent Dunster House to a superb standard, as an ambassador of the company

Requirements:

  • UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Experience with delivery driving or driver’s mate’s duties
  • Driving and navigation ability
  • Manual handling experience

What We Offer:

  • Shifts are offered on an ad‑hoc basis, primarily at weekends
  • For flexibility, there may be an option for some shifts to cover weekday working as required by the business
  • 07.30 start time, with varied finish times based on business need
  • £12.71 per hour for hours worked
  • There may be opportunities to apply for fixed‑term or permanent employed roles in the future, subject to business needs
