We are looking for a Branch Manager to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile!

Established in 1994, Dunster House Ltd is a proud, family‑run business that’s continuing to grow and evolve. This year alone, we’ve expanded even further — opening four new sites and now employing over 550 amazing people across 15 locations across the UK. For more than 30 years, we’ve been passionate about designing, manufacturing, and retailing quality garden lifestyle products that help our customers make the most of their outdoor spaces. As garden building specialists, we’re proud to deliver our products directly to our customers using our very own fleet, ensuring care and quality every step of the way.

The Role:

This job is based out of our Dudley Branch – DY5 1QA and leads and manages branch operations by overseeing staff, driving performance, and ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Role Overview:

  • Overseeing the smooth and cost‑effective operation of the branch
  • Managing daily despatch, stores, and delivery functions
  • Ensuring effective utilisation of vehicles, route planning, and fleet optimisation
  • Monitoring drivers’ hours and maintaining vehicle servicing
  • Maintaining satisfactory stock levels and efficient despatch operations
  • Managing all branch staff, including performance, wellbeing, and development
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in administration
  • Promoting and monitoring Health & Safety standards across the site
  • Driving continuous productivity and cost efficiency improvements
  • Assessing and managing resource requirements
  • Overseeing staff training and development where required

Requirements:

  • A natural leader with proven experience managing a team of 20+ staff
  • Assertive, positive, and proactive in approach
  • Capable of forward planning and multi-tasking under pressure
  • Calm, logical, and solutions‑focused

What We Offer:

  • Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day between the hours or 7:30 and 18:00
  • Starting salary between £45,000 and £48,000 per annum
  • 31 days annual leave including bank holidays
