We are looking for a Driver’s Mate (Driving) to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile!
The Role
This job is based out of our Flixborough Branch – DN15 8SD and supports the driver with deliveries by assisting with loading, unloading, navigation, and ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery service.
Role Overview
- Helping the driver to safely secure the load onto the vehicle
- Assisting the driver with deliveries, as per the driver’s requests and aiding with navigation
- Complying with health and safety rules and regulations
- Keeping your vehicle clean
- Unloading the goods to customers with assistance of the driver
- Represent Dunster House to a superb standard, as an ambassador of the company
Requirements
- UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Experience with delivery driving or driver’s mate’s duties
- Driving and navigation ability
- Manual handling experience
What We Offer
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week averaged over 52 weeks per year.
- £26,437 per annum
- 29 days holiday including bank holidays
