We are looking for a Casual Zero-Hours Weekend 3.5T Driver to join us in our mission of delivering quality outdoor products such as log cabins, garden offices, sheds and gazebos designed with care, built to last, and made to make our customers smile!

Last year, we expanded even further opening four new sites and now employing over 650 amazing people across 15 locations across the UK. For more than 30 years, we've been passionate about designing, manufacturing, and retailing quality garden lifestyle products that help our customers make the most of their outdoor spaces. As garden building specialists, we're proud to deliver our products directly to our customers using our very own fleet, ensuring care and quality every step of the way.
The Role: This job is based out of our Warminster Branch - BA12 8SR and the ideal candidate may be offered shifts being responsible for safely operating a 3.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Carry out safe, timely deliveries of products to customers and sites.
- Load and secure goods correctly, ensuring weight limits and safety standards are met.
- Conduct daily vehicle walkaround checks and ensure roadworthiness at all times.
- Verify all delivery items are present and accounted for before departure.
- Drive responsibly and professionally, adhering to all road laws and company expectations (including Samsara monitoring).
- Ensure compliance with domestic driver hours regulations.
- Unload goods safely with assistance from a driver's mate, following manual handling procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and digital forms (Anveo) accurately and promptly, submitting them to the office and customers as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle after each delivery.
- Represent Dunster House professionally and courteously when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Experience driving 3.5t vehicles
- Driving and navigation ability
- Manual handling experience

- Shifts are offered on an ad-hoc basis, primarily at weekends.
- For flexibility, there may be an option for some shifts to cover weekday working as required by the business.
- 07.30 start time, with varied finish times based on business need.
