Based in our Pontefract office, you will work on a variety of civil and structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. After successfully completing your probationary period, you will have the option to transition to a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake structural analysis and design across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports
  • Assist with site inspections, surveys, and assessments
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to deliver high‑quality project outcomes
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders as required
Requirements
  • Minimum 2.5 years’ industry experience in a civil or structural engineering role
  • BSc in Civil Engineering or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Must have completed a structural engineering module at university
  • Strong understanding of UK design codes and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and report‑writing skills
  • Experience with structural design software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, AutoCad, Tekla Structural Designer, etc.)
  • Progress toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng)
