Key QC Technician Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are monitored and compliant
  • Carry out quality control checks on production lines to ensure products meet specification standards
  • Support compliance with procedures where applicable
  • Ensure all manufactured products are safe, legal and meet required quality standards
  • Assist with preparation for customer, retailer and third-party audits
  • Conduct GMP, Glass & Plastic, and Internal Audits across the site
  • Manage non-conformances and support corrective action implementation
  • Monitor product rotation and date coding procedures across all departments
  • Collect microbiological and environmental samples for testing and analysis
  • Verify compliance with QA systems including HACCP, GMP, allergen control, traceability and packaging standards
  • Create and manage pallet labels and case labels accurately
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation

Required QC Technician Experience:

Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience within a Quality or Technical role in Food Manufacturing
  • Good understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to complete paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Good communication skills with a clear understanding of English
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards food safety and quality standards

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Food Safety or HACCP qualification
  • Knowledge of retailer standards and third-party audits
  • Experience with compliance standards
