Key Machine Minder Responsibilities:
- Set up, start, and operate automated production equipment to meet daily output and quality standards.
- Complete start-up and routine checks to ensure machinery is safe and running to specification.
- Monitor machine performance during production, making adjustments to maintain efficiency and consistency.
- Work closely with shift supervision to coordinate breaks, changeovers, and workflow.
- Identify equipment faults and assist with basic diagnostics alongside the engineering team.
- Escalate mechanical or technical issues promptly to reduce downtime.
- Maintain clear and accurate shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
- Keep machinery and work areas clean, organised, and compliant with site standards.
- Carry out cleaning tasks in line with documented procedures.
- Support the training of colleagues once fully competent in the role.
- Develop capability across additional equipment and processes as required.
- Follow all health, safety, and site procedures without exception.
Required Machine Minder Experience:
- Previous experience operating machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong awareness of health & safety and quality requirements.
