Key Quality Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead Food Safety, Quality and GMP standards across site
  • Ensure compliance with BRC, customer and legal requirements
  • Act as key contact for audits, customer queries and escalations
  • Drive investigations into non-conformance (micro, analytical, complaints)
  • Own HACCP, validation and verification processes
  • Embed a strong Food Safety & Quality culture on site
  • Work closely with operations on hygiene, CIP and process controls
  • Support NPD and site change management
  • Drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions
  • Oversee product hold/release and traceability

Quality Manager Requirements:

  • Essential: 3+ years experience in food manufacturing within a Quality/Technical role
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards
  • Experience leading internal and external audits (BRC/customer)
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or similar microbiology (masters)
  • Experience in high-care or complex manufacturing environments
  • Coaching or mentoring experience
