Shift Patterns:
- Days/Afters: Rotating shifts (5:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 11:00pm) 45 hours per week
- Nights: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00am Average 40 hours per week

Key Senior HGV Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT testing and ensure DVSA compliance
- Conduct safety inspections and identify defects promptly
- Accurately complete maintenance records and workshop documentation
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to minimise vehicle downtime
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and industry regulations
Required Skills & Experience:
- Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing HGV trucks and trailers within a commercial vehicle environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Excellent understanding of DVSA regulations and vehicle compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards
- Own transport essential due to site location
