Requirements
Essential
- Time served Welder / Sheet Metal Fabricator
- Experience with TIG and MIG welding (mild steel and stainless steel)
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong fabrication and assembly skills
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience with pipework welding
- Previous experience within a similar engineering or manufacturing environment
- Site work experience
The Role
- Carry out TIG and MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components
- Perform brazing and manual plasma cutting
- Operate press brake, rollers, and guillotine machinery
- Mark out and set up materials for fabrication
- Fabricate pipework and complex assemblies
- Work alongside an experienced engineering team on high-quality combustion equipment
- Participate in occasional site work where required
