A position has arisen for a Paint Sprayer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class, ISO9001 market leader in the manufacture of automatic combustion equipment, exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and supplying a broad range of blue-chip customers.
In this role you will play an integral part in the production team, taking responsibility for preparing surfaces, applying coatings and ensuring all paint finishes meet the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking and priming
- Applying coatings and paints using appropriate spray equipment and techniques
- Ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards
- Monitoring environmental conditions and coating requirements during application
- Carrying out basic inspections and rectifying minor defects where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all company procedures, site rules and health and safety regulations
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet production targets
Requirements
- TTP Bronze certification (Train the Painter – Protective Coating Applicator) or above
- Previous experience in industrial, automotive, rail or similar paint spraying environments
- Good understanding of coatings, materials and spray application techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures, method statements and risk assessments
- Good communication skills with a reliable and professional approach
- TTP Silver or Gold certification would be desirable
- Experience with abrasive blasting or surface preparation would be beneficial
- A CSCS card or other relevant site certifications would be advantageous
- Willingness to undertake further training and development would be welcomed
