Join our team! We’re looking for a Senior Employee Relations team to join our People team as part of our Employee Relations Centre of Excellence. It’s an opportunity to support in creating a harmonious work environment that promotes employee satisfaction, productivity, and growth. You will be responsible for managing complex case work, undertaking complex investigations, coaching our people team and ensuring compliance. Please note this is a 12-month FTC position.
As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist in our Employee Relations function, you’ll need to be able to:
- Demonstrate effective case management of complex and challenging people related issues.
- Show a proven track record of coaching and supporting HR business partners and managers with all matters relating to employee relations issues taking into account potential risks to the business.
- Display knowledge of all ER legislation, best practice & trends to ensure that our policies reflect a workplace where employees are treated fairly.
- Research employment legislation where appropriate to provide relevant and accurate advice to the business.
- Manage annual compliance reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure they are continually fit for purpose and in line with legislative updates.
- Support with the introduction of new or revised ER policies, procedures and processes.
- Provide ongoing coaching to our people team to ensure consistent application of the ER policy and adherence to best practice in the management of all ER related issues.
- Have an understanding of ER metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the People team as well as to identify trends within the business.
