About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Ad Ops Campaign Manager to help build the operational backbone of Tesco’s new media platform. This is a rare opportunity to shape how a new category of media is operationalised — from hands-on campaign execution during the pilot phase to designing scalable, automated operations for the future.
You’ll be at the heart of campaign delivery, working cross-functionally to ensure campaigns run smoothly today while helping define the systems, workflows, and tools that will power tomorrow.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end campaign creation and execution during the pilot phase.
- Design the future-state operating model for scalable campaign delivery.
- Represent campaign delivery needs in product, proposition, and commercial planning.
- Build and maintain campaign documentation and playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
- Translate campaign briefs into executable plans across teams.
- Troubleshoot operational blockers and escalate as needed.
- Track campaign performance and support post-campaign reporting.
- Define booking principles, SLAs, and QA processes.
- Contribute to the selection and implementation of future ad tech and workflow tools.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in ad operations, campaign management, or media delivery — ideally in digital or retail media.
- Strong understanding of campaign workflows, trafficking, and execution across multiple channels.
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and clean room environments.
- Experience designing or improving operational processes and systems.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.
You’ll Thrive If You…
- Constantly look for ways to streamline workflows and reduce friction.
- Build trust through operational excellence and clear communication.
- Think in terms of systems, dependencies, and repeatable processes.
- Move quickly to solve problems and keep campaigns on track.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
- Collaborate seamlessly across teams.
- Embrace ambiguity and help shape solutions to complex challenges.
The Challenges You’ll Tackle
- Delivering campaigns in a pilot environment where many systems and processes are not yet in place.
- Managing campaigns that span multiple inventory sources and data sets, with no unified platform.
- Acting as both doer and designer — executing today while shaping tomorrow’s operating model.
- Balancing the need for speed and flexibility with the need for rigour , compliance, and scalability.
What you can expect from us
We won’t just meet your expectations. We’ll defy them. So you’ll enjoy the comprehensive rewards package you’d expect from a leading technology company. But also, a degree of personal flexibility you might not expect. Plus, thoughtful perks, like flexible working hours and your birthday off.
You’ll also benefit from an investment in cutting-edge technology that reflects our global ambition. But with a nimble, small-business feel that gives you the freedom to play, experiment and learn.

We live it every day – with thriving networks including dh Gender Equality Network, dh Proud, dh Family, dh One, dh Enabled and dh Thrive as the living proof.
