We're looking for a Media Channel Executive who expects more from their career. Sitting within the Sales Enablement team, you will be an integral part of driving the success of our sales team by developing and executing strategies to enhance their capabilities, responsible for implementing programs, tools, and resources, to achieve their targets effectively. The role involves collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Training, to ensure alignment and integration of sales enablement initiatives. Your focus will be on the development, delivery and optimisation of our online media channels during an exciting time of transformational change for the Tesco media business.
Responsibilities
- Own the executional side of the digital media strategy, ensuring efficient delivery across display, sponsored media, brand events, and partnerships.
- Support the Media Channel Leads and Managers in the launch of new propositions in the digital channel and monthly governance across the wider Tesco stakeholder group.
- Become proficient across digital media channels.
- Empower Media Sales teams by sharing knowledge, best practices, and training on digital media guidelines and capabilities.
- Assist in the development of measurement and case studies across digital channels.
- Build strong networks internally at Tesco Media and Tesco, partnering with product, tech, data science, marketing, and media sales teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
- Utilise insight and planning tools to build compelling marketing collateral that can be used by Media Sales teams to inspire clients into buying into our solutions and empower the sales team to take them to market.
- Help foster a strong internal culture through engaging communications that keep the Media Sales team aligned, informed, and inspired.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in digital media planning and/or e‑commerce within a marketing/advertising team or media agency.
- Platform activation experience within Sponsored Products such as Epsilon, Programmatic or Search channels.
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving team and effectively manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
- Experience in managing external client relationships.
- Knowledge and passion for Retail or Media, with a strong understanding of taking a customer first approach.
- Experience using data and insights to build a compelling media solution and curate a narrative to take out to market.
- A strong collaborator - showing evidence of collaborating and coordinating with internal departments and teams to get things done.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines.
