We’re looking for a Culture & Engagement Lead who’s passionate about creating meaningful colleague experiences and building inclusive, values‑led cultures. This role plays a key part in shaping how it feels to work at dunnhumby, bringing our purpose and values to life through thoughtful, data‑driven culture and engagement initiatives. You’ll work closely with leaders, HR Business Partners, Internal Communications and our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) networks to listen to our colleagues, turn insight into action, and help build a workplace where trust, belonging and performance can thrive.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning and delivering our culture and engagement roadmap, aligned to dunnhumby’s purpose, values and strategy.
- Designing and leading listening activities (including surveys and qualitative insight) and turning feedback into clear, practical actions.
- Partnering with Internal Communications to tell compelling people stories that reinforce who we are and how we work.
- Creating initiatives that build inclusion, belonging and psychological safety across the business.
- Supporting and enabling our DEI networks to grow, connect colleagues and drive advocacy.
- Balancing global culture initiatives with locally led activity, always mindful of different cultural contexts.
- Using data and clear KPIs to track progress, measure impact and continuously improve.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience delivering culture, engagement and/or DEI initiatives in a complex organisation.
- A strong background in listening, insight and action planning—and a genuine curiosity about colleague experience.
- Confidence partnering with senior leaders and HR teams to influence behaviour and ways of working.
- A thoughtful, data‑informed approach to prioritising work and demonstrating impact.
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Experience working in a matrixed or multi‑country environment.
- Hands‑on experience supporting or working with employee or DEI networks.
- Exposure to a Talent, L&D or People Centre of Expertise.
- A relevant qualification in HR, Change or a related field.
