Senior Media Ops Manager, Digital is a leadership role within the Tesco Media Operations team. The role leads a high‑performing Campaign Management team to deliver seamless execution of campaigns across digital channels, aligning with senior stakeholders in Media Sales, Account Management, and Media Enablement. The role shapes operational excellence and ensures campaigns drive impact at scale for Tesco Media and its clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of Campaign Managers in the delivery of Onsite and related campaigns.
- Own campaign delivery for all Onsite Digital campaigns across various onsite channels.
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies in line with business goals.
- Be the expert in our systems, tools and processes.
- Handle escalations within the team.
- Champion continuous improvement by surfacing campaign issues to a wider forum of partners and driving change.
- Drive efficiency by identifying tools and processes that improve efficiency for teams and customers.
- Allocate resources appropriately and monitor workload balance.
- Provide clear direction aligned to Tesco UK Media Client Services strategy and guidelines.
- Support Media Sales and Account Management in maximizing revenue within channel guardrails.
- Plan and integrate new digital propositions seamlessly.
- Maintain compliance through close links with Ad Policy and Legal teams and adherence to platform policies.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and share best practices across Tesco UK Media teams.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in digital advertising, operating at a senior level with a strong track record of team management.
- Deep knowledge of the digital advertising industry and ad serving technology.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable analysing data and reports to troubleshoot problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience in successfully leading teams through change is highly preferred.
