Senior Auditor

Our client is recruiting for a Senior Auditor for a temporary position:

Qualifications: Must have CCAB qualified Accountant or AAT qualification, or a recognised auditing qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Performing and reporting on systems, governance, and financial audits as allocated by the Audit Manager.
• Assisting in the management of the audit service in the absence of the Audit Manager.
• Undertaking detailed examination of systems and transactions in order to:

• ensure financial probity;
• improve the standard of control and provision of information for management;
• identify areas where efficiency savings could be achieved;
• ensure that policies are being complied with;
• evaluate controls and facilitate their development and maintenance throughout the Authority.

Work Arrangement: This is a Hybrid role, balancing working from home and from a designated workplace, attending other workplaces as required.

Schedule: Full-time role working Monday to Friday.
