We are recruiting for a LGV Waste and Recycling Driver Loader in the Sheffield area to support the safe collection of waste and recyclables from residential and commercial properties. You’ll operate a collection vehicle, lead a small crew, and update service data using the Bartec in cab system. This is a full time role for an initial 3 month period.
Key Requirements
- Category C driving licence
- CPC
- Experience in waste operations and vehicle handling
- Physically fit for outdoor manual work in all weather
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Knowledge of health & safety and environmental practices
- Ability to supervise and allocate tasks
You may be required to support other services (e.g. highways) as needed. Full training provided. Up to 39.5 (Including driver walk around checks) hours Monday to Friday, 06:45 start, additional Saturday working may be available.
