Principal Project Manager

We urgently require a Principal Business Manager to work with our prestigious client on the Isle of Wight. This is a 6 month temp to perm contract, full time Monday to Friday.

Main Purpose

• To build, expand and lead a successful commercial trade waste business
• Driving growth and maximising sales in the trade waste sector
• Lead the team to achieve both operational excellence and significant business development

Responsibilities

• Actively drive the growth of trade waste business, identifying and capitalising on new sales opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies that align operational management with business growth and long-term objectives
• Lead the Trade Waste Operations Teams with a strong focus on sales maximisation and business development
• Ensure operations are compliant with relevant legislation
• Manage operational budget and resources, focusing on cost-effective strategies that support business growth
• Set and monitor key performance indicators related to sales and operational efficiency, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded
• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to establish and maintain appropriate management systems ensuring monitoring, performance and compliance

Requirements

• Degree/Foundation degree/HND in Engineering or related field
• WAMITAB COTC (level 4)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project
• Proven experience in waste management (or similar sector), with a strong background in business development and sales
