You\βll help ensure the smooth delivery of essential public services by coordinating sickness absence procedures, providing HR-related support, and contributing to workforce strategy and performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sickness absence processes including referrals, returns to work, and ill health procedures
- Provide support and advice to managers on sickness management and related HR matters
- Analyse and present absence data to assist service improvement
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners on workforce planning issues
- Deliver training and support on absence procedures
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent; CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards one desirable
- Administrative experience, ideally in a workforce planning or HR-related role
- Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of attendance management procedures and relevant IT systems
- Full UK driving licence (Category B + E) and willingness to travel across sites
