We are seeking an experienced Senior Respite Support Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and/or ADHD in a respite setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support day-to-day care in line with best practice, promoting dignity, choice, safety, and independence
  • Implement outcome-based, person-centred support plans
  • Support safeguarding processes in line with South Yorkshire Safeguarding Adults procedures
  • Contribute to handovers, reviews, and team meetings
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to staff
  • Support individuals with personal care, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, and social activities

About You

  • Experience in Health & Social Care, including learning disabilities/ADHD
  • Experience with care planning, service procedures, and quality standards
  • Experience across residential, day care, or similar services
  • Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification desirable (Level 4 advantageous)
  • Good written and verbal English
