About Us

Dunmow Group is Essex\’s busiest independent waste management company, and our Chelmsford site never stops moving. With over 400 vehicles arriving and departing every day, we need a Banksman who can help keep the yard safe, organised and running smoothly.

The job
You will guide lorries around the site, making sure they move safely and follow instructions. You will check loads for contamination – entering details into a handheld digital device – keep tipping areas clear, and spot potential hazards before they become a problem. No experience is needed, just confidence, attention to detail and a steady pair of hands.

Shift Pattern

• Mon-Fri (10-hour shift; 47.5 hrs per week) Either 06:30 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 18:30 depending on seasons.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 47.5 per week
