The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Field Sales Representative to join our team and manage an established sales territory covering Derry, Enniskillen, Strabane, and Dungannon. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth within the forecourt and convenience retail environment. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working independently, building strong customer partnerships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing customer base across the designated territory.
- Develop strong relationships with forecourt, convenience, and retail customers.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell Dunlop Agencies' extensive portfolio of branded non-food products.
- Present new product launches, promotions, and merchandising opportunities to customers.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer queries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activity, and territory performance.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous sales experience, preferably within FMCG, wholesale, convenience retail, forecourt, or related sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Competent in the use of mobile technology and sales reporting systems.
