Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Image Director is responsible for defining, shaping, and elevating the overall visual identity and brand image of dunhill globally. This strategic role involves providing visionary leadership to the Art Direction team and broader creative functions, ensuring all visual content and collateral consistently reflects and enhances the brand's luxury positioning and narrative.

The Image Director will drive the strategic direction for all visual communications, from conceptualisation through to execution across all platforms and touchpoints, fostering high-level relationships with world-class creative talent and collaborating extensively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, innovative, and on-brand visual experiences. This role ensures the strategic alignment of all visual projects with business objectives, managing resources and budgets to achieve exceptional creative outcomes.

  • Define and evolve the global visual strategy and brand image in close collaboration with the CCO and CMO, ensuring alignment with overall brand vision and business objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for all visual content, including campaigns, digital platforms, retail environments, and experiential activations.
  • Lead the conceptualisation and development of groundbreaking visual narratives across all media (photography, film, digital art, design), pushing creative boundaries while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Drive innovation in visual storytelling and content creation, identifying emerging trends and technologies to elevate dunhill's presence and engagement.
  • Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with world-renowned photographers, directors, stylists, and other creative partners, ensuring access to top-tier talent for all projects.
  • Oversee the strategic allocation and optimisation of creative budgets and resources, ensuring maximum impact and efficiency across all visual initiatives.
  • Mentor, inspire, and develop the Art Department and broader creative teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the ultimate guardian of the dunhill brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency, quality, and appropriate representation across all global touchpoints and communications.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships across all internal departments (Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, Digital) to ensure cohesive and integrated visual strategies.
  • Provide expert strategic and creative counsel on all visual briefs, guiding the team from concept through to flawless execution.
  • Develop and implement best-in-class approaches for content capture, production, and distribution, including major events, global campaigns, and digital-first initiatives.
