Your local store is looking for a minimum of 30 hours per week Delivery Controller. The hours will be spread across the week but will include a Saturday or Sunday shift.

What you'll be doing

  • Goods Receipting & Stock Integrity
    • Organise and process deliveries with precision using HHT and Athena systems.
    • Attend daily delivery huddles to align with your team and understand your role.
    • Use delivery equipment safely and in line with company policies.
  • Teamwork & Communication
    • Work closely with the spotter to ensure stock is ready for the sales floor.
    • Support delivery colleagues by maintaining a smooth and efficient stock flow.
    • Communicate effectively with delivery drivers to verify manifests and volumes.
  • Sustainability & Compliance
    • Manage salvage and recycling processes to reduce waste and improve sustainability.
    • Maintain inventory of warehouse essentials like bailer wire and waste bags.
    • Stay up to date with Thrive training for policies, procedures, and compliance.
  • Efficiency & Organisation
    • Break down deliveries in a tidy and strategic way to support merchandising.
    • Prepare and process shrinkage and IBTs with duty manager authorisation.
    • Keep the warehouse and yard clean, safe, and well-organised.
