An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, organised, highly motivated Executive Assistant to support two Executive Directors – the CFO and the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary – and light support for our Non-Exec Directors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a successful, fast paced company, delivering a high service and interacting with all areas of the business. The role will be based at our Support Centre in Syston, Leicestershire and will require occasional visits to other sites across the country. We operate a hybrid working environment, but this role will involve 3-4 days in our office each week.
Role responsibilities
- Supporting the CFO and the Group General Counsel & Company Secretary in their Executive roles through organisation and general management.
- Ensuring they have what they need on a day-to-day basis.
- Working collaboratively as part of the EA team.
- Manage extensive and often challenging electronic diaries using Microsoft Outlook.
- Acting as a key point of contact between the leadership team and other key parties, setting up meetings as appropriate and maintaining good communication.
- Working with multiple external stakeholders for meetings, events and preparation of board packs.
- Co‑ordinating financial results announcements and presentations to the City with brokers, investors, analysts, the CEO & CFO.
- Making travel arrangements, booking accommodation and processing claims for expenses (included expenses for Non‑Exec Directors).
- Collating presentations and full meeting packs using PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Working as an integral part of a busy EA team including cover/support as required.
- Preparing and supporting Exec meetings and events.
- Email management and phone call support for the Executives.
- Ad‑hoc tasks the director may require.

- Flexible with a proactive approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re‑prioritise using their own initiative.
- The ideal candidate will be assertive, a forward thinker and a problem solver.
- The interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders to support Executives with their work.
- Keen attention to detail and being able to maintain a calm disposition under pressure.
- Possess a valid driving license.
