Your local store is looking for a minimum of 12 hours per week Evening Sales Assistant. You will need to be fully flexible over the course of the week. At Dunelm, our Sales Assistants are the foundation of our stores. With customer focus as the top priority, they are the first point of call for lending a helping hand and interacting with customers to ensure they leave with what they want and feel positive.

Responsibilities:

  • Tills – Serving customers with purchases or returns, checking that all items are complete, ensuring fragile items are packed securely.
  • Shop floor – Assisting customers to find products, providing an excellent service to create and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Hosting – Using iPad systems to order products for delivery to customers' homes, providing a Made To Measure service for bespoke curtains and blinds, styling departments such as bedding displays.
  • Stock and Delivery – Heavy lifting involved; merchandising, updating price changes, tidying the store after a busy day, receiving deliveries, checking stock control, ordering and replenishing shop-floor while keeping customer needs in mind.
