As a self‑service till specialist, you’ll be right where the action is, supporting customers at one of the most important parts of their shopping journey. Whether someone’s in a hurry, looking for a bit of help, or just wants a friendly face nearby, you’ll be there to make sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll be confident using our tech, quick to solve any hiccups, and always ready to step in with a smile. You’ll keep an eye on multiple tills at once, making sure no customer feels unseen or stuck. It’s all about creating a checkout experience that’s fast, friendly, and fuss‑free. Because when the last thing a customer sees is great service, it’s the first thing they remember.

What you'll be doing:

  • You’ll be customer obsessed – always considering the impact of your actions on the customer experience and striving to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way.
  • You’ll consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience.
  • Serving our customers at checkouts across different types of tills, handling in store purchases, as well as in‑store and online returns.
  • Overseeing multiple self‑service tills and supporting when required, ensuring all items are scanned correctly and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of tills.
  • Serving customers who have purchased via Click & Collect.
  • Helping shoppers find exactly what they’re looking for – and maybe even something they didn’t know they needed.
  • When something isn’t available on the shelves, you’ll step in with confidence, using our iPad systems to place orders for home delivery, making sure no one leaves empty‑handed.
  • You’ll also be trained to deliver our fantastic Made to Measure service, helping create bespoke curtains and blinds tailored to each shopper’s needs.
  • While you’ll be taking in deliveries, checking stock, and replenishing the shop floor, this isn’t just a back‑room job – it’s customer‑facing too.
  • You’ll keep displays looking their best, update pricing, and recover the store after busy periods, all while staying tuned in to what shoppers need and making sure everything’s easy to find, well‑presented, and ready to go.

You’ll also be trained in all aspects of customer‑facing store life, including shop floor assistance, hosting, and stock & delivery.
