Sitting within the Responsible Sourcing Department, the Ireland Product Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring Dunelm products meet the regulatory and compliance requirements necessary to be legally sold in the Republic of Ireland.
This role is responsible for managing the product ranges sold in Ireland, ensuring that no products are placed on the market without meeting the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
This includes reviewing and validating compliance documentation, identifying gaps in testing and certification requirements, and working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure products remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
A significant focus of the role is maintaining accurate compliance data, driving supplier engagement, and establishing efficient processes that support both current and future product launches in Ireland.
This is a highly administrative and process-driven role that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of product and supplier information.
You will join a team focused on protecting the business from compliance risk, improving ways of working, and ensuring our products meet the expectations of regulators, customers and international markets.
- What you’ll be doing
- Review products and categories to ensure they meet Republic of Ireland compliance requirements and identify where additional testing or documentation is required.
- Conduct due diligence checks on existing products, identifying gaps, risks and missing compliance information.
- Validate supplier documentation and work with suppliers to obtain accurate, up-to-date testing and certification.
- Maintain compliance records and ensure testing requirements are accurately captured within internal systems and product specifications.
- Partner with Commercial, Product Technologist and Republic of Ireland teams to establish efficient approval processes for new and existing products.
- Monitor supplier, product and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and identify potential risks.
Support compliance activities relating to EU regulations, including EUDR, product safety requirements and international market obligations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and enhance compliance governance across the business

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, trends, gaps and inconsistencies.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with complex datasets and tracking tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage suppliers and challenge where required.
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a detailed, process-driven and administrative environment.
- Commercial awareness and a good understanding of the retail, sourcing or product lifecycle.
- Interest in legislation, regulatory compliance and international product requirements.
- Experience working with suppliers, technical documentation, product compliance or regulatory processes would be advantageous
- Knowledge of European Union regulations, product safety requirements or international compliance frameworks would be beneficial but not essential.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving high standards of compliance.
