Your local store is looking for a minimum of 12 hours per week Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. From the first coffee poured to the final smile shared, every moment in Pausa is a chance to brighten someone’s day - and you’ll be right at the centre of it all. Our coffee shops, affectionately titled Pausa, are positively thriving and it is our Coffee Shop Assistants that are at the very heart of their success. You’ll take pride in every cup you pour, build expert knowledge of our product range and meaningfully connect with our customers. Whether it’s a regular grabbing their usual or a first‑time visitor, you’ll make sure every customer leaves feeling better than when they arrived. It’s a busy, hands‑on role that takes energy, focus and a fair bit of graft.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way.
  • Serving hot and cold beverages that delight our customers.
  • Dishing up our delicious savoury and sweet food items, ensuring presentation sparks joy.
  • Ensuring all cooked food is nice and hot so they can be enjoyed as intended.
  • Keeping the restaurant tables clear and sanitised as promptly as possible to maintain our customers' high expectations.
  • Providing an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience.
  • As part of this role, you will be working and in contact with a variety of different ingredients including dairy, nuts, and meat products including pork.
