Our store in Farnborough is looking for a minimum of 8 hours per week Weekend Sales Assistant to support us over our busy weekends. Here at Dunelm, our Sales Assistants are the foundation; an excellent team right at the heart of our stores. With customer focus as the number one priority, our Sales Assistants are the first point of call for lending a helping hand and are always interacting with customers, ensuring they leave with exactly what they want and a positive lasting impression so they return again and again.
What you'll be doing:
- Tills – Serving customers with purchases or returns and ensuring all items are complete and fragile items are packed securely.
- Shop floor – Assisting customers to find the products they are looking for and providing excellent, memorable service to create customer loyalty and a genuine love for our products.
- Hosting – Using our iPad systems to order products for delivery to customers’ homes, training on Made To Measure services to create bespoke curtain and blinds orders, and styling departments such as bedding displays to inspire and allow customers to feel fabrics and choose the perfect items.
- Stock and Delivery – A physical role with some heavy lifting, focusing on merchandising, updating price changes, recovering the store after busy days, taking in deliveries, checking stock control, ordering and carrying out shop-floor replenishment while keeping customers’ needs in mind.
