What you\’ll be doing
- Contributing to the overall customer experience, via effective communication and displaying outstanding levels of customer service.
- Ensuring excellent timekeeping to provide customers with a great experience.
- Using PDA (phones) to call and communicate with our customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assisting delivery drivers with reversing and banksman duties to ensure safety for all parties.
- Adhering to health & safety regulations within the working environment.
- Enhancing the customer experience during delivery by offering services such as \”Room of Choice\” and \”Taking the packaging away\”.
- Assisting the Warehouse / Office teams with loading/unloading or any reasonable requests.
- This role involves set early start times, with most evenings returning to base by 17:00.
- The work rota provides long and short weekends on a rotation basis.
What we\’ll look for in you
In this role, you will play a critical part in the customer experience; adaptability is key as no two days will be the same. Ideally, you will have:
- Previous distribution experience.
- Excellent PDA/Phone skills.
- Experience in dealing with both customers and drivers in a clear and calm manner.
- The ability to build effective working relationships across different colleague groups.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
