We’re seeking a highly motivated Distribution Clerk to assist with the collection and coordination of the activities of our distribution services out of the Bristol Depot. This role is all about keeping things moving behind the scenes. If you’re the kind of person who likes ticking things off a list, solving problems, and being part of a team that helps make home life lovelier for our customers, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain accurate records for driver hours, holidays, sickness, and accident reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, security policies, and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
- Communicate effectively with team members and support the transport team during absences.
- Respond to customer service queries and assist with general distribution office tasks.
- Perform clerical duties including photocopying, filing, yard checks, and depot open/lock procedures.
- Support wider distribution operations as needed, within reasonable management requests.
- Manage driver communications, workloads, and route planning using computer systems.
