About Us - We are a boutique management consulting firm specialising in providing strategic advisory and transformation support to clients across Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Infrastructure sectors. Based in the UK, our team works closely with large organisations to drive impactful change through conceptualisation, design and implementation of company-wide Transformation programs. We pride ourselves on delivering creative, results-oriented solutions and are seeking an experienced Data Lead to drive the next level of growth in the Data Capability. You will have an extensive background in delivering innovative, tailored data driven solutions combined with insight generation.
Key responsibilities
- Advanced Analytics Delivery: Lead end‑to‑end data analytics projects—data exploration, feature engineering, model development (ML/AI), validation, and deployment—tailored to solving client business problems.
- Analytics Framework & Playbooks: Co‑create repeatable playbooks for common analytics problems (budget forecasting, customer segmentation, price/volume analysis), including code templates, visualization standards, and deployment guidelines.
- Insight Packaging & Storytelling: Architect and implement dashboards, reports, and narrative templates that translate complex model outputs into concise, actionable recommendations using different tools including Power BI or Tableau. Leverage cloud data processing frameworks like Databricks, or similar for handling, processing, and analysing complex, high-volume data from a wide variety of corporate structured and unstructured sources, 3rd party providers and publicly available data.
- Technology & Infrastructure Advisory: Assess and recommend data science tooling, platform architecture (cloud/on‑premise), and MLOps practices to ensure scalable, maintainable analytics pipelines (including API calls to various services).
What You’ll Bring:
- Extensive experience in data strategy and analytics consulting, ideally working with management consultancies or a leading analytics-focused consulting firm.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, data analytics, and AI/ML technologies.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to simplify technical concepts and craft compelling data‑driven narratives.
- Certifications in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Demonstrable knowledge of data, technology and one or more data-focused programming languages such as SQL, Python, R.
- Adaptability with strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high achievers and demanding client expectations.
- Self-discipline for planning and organising tasks, and delivering in an unstructured environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
- A genuine affinity for problem solving - an inquisitive mind who wants to solve the trickiest challenges whilst working with incredible colleagues.
