Based at St Paul's RC Academy, you will work full time, 37 hours per week for the Children and Families Services Technical Services Team.

Requirements- You will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in a technical related subject or be a time served crafts person.
- You will provide an efficient technical support service throughout the Children and Families Service, supporting CDT teaching staff to deliver learning and teaching activities, ensuring the effective use of technical resources and designated staff whilst undertaking technician service functions.
- You will be responsible for repair and maintenance of materials and equipment and ensuring Health & Safety Regulations are adhered to.
- You will have technical knowledge gained in an education setting or busy work environment.
- You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT.
- You will have a working knowledge of health and safety matters and experience of analytical work/problem solving.
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to manage your own work with remote supervision are essential.
- You will be willing to work with pupils in a classroom setting and be prepared to undertake relevant training.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
