Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.
Bar Assistants are required on a casual basis at Dundee Ice Arena. When work is available you will be contacted. There is no obligation for Leisure & Culture Dundee to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. The rate of pay is £13.64 per hour. Due to the nature of this post all applicants must be 18 years of age or above.
Requirements- 3 National 4 passes or equivalent including English, Maths and one other relevant subject.
The purpose of this job is to ensure that the customers are served in a courteously and friendly manner, and that all working areas are maintained to a high degree of cleanliness.
The IndividualYou will have a knowledge or interest in catering and/or hospitality. You will be a quick learner with the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative. You must also have good communication skills within the team environment and the ability to deal with customers in a courteously and friendly manner. You must be a motivated individual with good planning and organisational skills. You will also have good written and oral skills, good timekeeping and attendance, as well as having good personal hygiene.
