The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Based at Greenfield, Baldragon or St Paul's Academy, you will work full time, 35 hours per week on a permanent basis. In addition, Harris Academy has a full time, 35 hours per week temporary post until June 2026. Requirements

You will be GTCS Registered (Secondary) in August 2025, have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and an awareness of main current issues in Scottish education. Applications will be accepted from teachers who are currently provisionally registered with the GTCS and who expect to gain full registration at the end of this current session. For Roman Catholic schools you will also be required to apply for RC Church approval at the same time as submitting your application form.

Responsibilities

You will deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.

The Individual

You will also demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and have evidence of appropriate Professional Learning in a range of areas. In addition, you will have a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people, have good communication/interpersonal skills and relate well to others. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will require to join the PVG Scheme to undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
