Overview
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
This is a career grade post LG05-09 (£27,949.95 to £42,416.50). The successful candidate will be placed on this scale depending on qualification and experience.

Requirements
You will have HNC, in Building, Architectural Technology, or equivalent Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
or
You will be able to undertake within first year of employment.
You will be Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor.
Responsibilities
You will assist in providing a complete range of architectural services to the council and its service departments and to external public agencies that meet the domestic standard PAS-2035 compliance where required, all as directed by the Architectural Services Manager.
You will represent the Architectural Services Manager on construction projects and maintenance projects emanating from the Division and to ensure compliance with professional standards and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations as appropriate.
The Individual
This post would be most suitable to an individual with a background in architectural technology as well as retrofit. You will have knowledge of energy efficient building design, construction and architectural detailing along with knowledge of contract law, contract conditions and AutoCAD skills.
You will have knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including CDM, working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
You should have relevant working knowledge of the requirements of the role under PAS 2035. The ability to demonstrate an awareness of Retrofit, Enerphit and Passive House and familiarity with full SAP, RdSAP or PHPP is essential to carrying out the duties of the role.
You will have the ability to use RdSAP 10 to carry out Energy Assessments and lodge Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), or willingness to become trained to do so.
You will have effective time management to achieve project objectives and good negotiating skills at all levels.
You will have the ability to undertake site visits and surveys, including working at height, confined spaces, etc.
