Responsibilities

The Community Equipment Service provides a single point to source Health and Local Authority Equipment services for staff and the public through a fast-responsive delivery and installation service. Under the direction of the Equipment Services Manager you will deliver, install and maintain equipment on behalf of Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership and Angus Health and Social Care Partnership.

The Individual
  • You will have experience of work with people in the community.
  • You will have knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and local geographical knowledge.
  • You will have the ability to assemble and install equipment and the ability to work independently and on your own initiative.
  • You will be computer literate and have good communication skills both written and oral.
  • You will also have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.
  • You will have a full current driving licence.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
