Working in a hybrid style, based at home and at the city square office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis for 12 months.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Accountant to provide professional financial advice and support to Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership, a collaboration between Dundee City Council and NHS Tayside, delivering community-based health and social care services for Dundee citizens.

The successful candidate will work across NHS Tayside and Dundee City Council systems to provide management accounting services to local integrated health and social care services with a combined budget of approximately £280m.

Requirements

You will be a CCAB Qualified Accountant, or working towards a relevant professional accountancy qualification.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in providing financial support to managers as they develop operational and strategic plans to meet the needs of our population. The role also supports the Partnership's finance team with monthly and annual financial reporting, making it both varied and an exciting learning opportunity.

The Individual

You should have relevant management accounting experience, and be fully qualified or progressing towards a professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, creativity, adaptability to change, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders are essential.
