Job Description
Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city. www.leisureandculturedundee.com
Working 37 hours per week you will be part of a 3-person alternating shift rota that delivers a Facility Attendant role in Menzieshill Community Hub. You will support Leisure & Culture Dundeeβs weekly sports centre programme and also support Dundee City Council Neighbourhood Services Weekly Community Centre Programme. This role sits within the Active City section of Leisure and Sport and the main base of work will be the Menzieshill Community Hub.
Requirements
2 National Grade 4 (or equivalent) passes in Maths and English or relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibility for effectively addressing operational issues, health & safety matters, delivering an efficient, responsive and courteous customer-focused service to all Hub users, and routine minor maintenance relating to the Facility Attendant roles/duties.
The Individual
You will have experience and knowledge of cash handling, IT skills, and the ability to maintain sufficient records and show high levels of personal organisational skills.
You will be friendly, polite and approachable with good communication, interpersonal and customer care skills and must show the ability to work efficiently using your own initiative whilst being able to work under pressure.
You must be able to work flexible shifts including evening, weekends and public holidays, as well as being prepared to respond positively to the reasonable demands of the service and work both individually and as part of a wider Facility Attendant team.
