Job Description

Working a hybrid style, you will be based at home and office at Floor 6, Dundee House, 50 North Lindsay Street, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have BSc (Hons) Degree in Environmental Health, or equivalent and, the Royal Environmental Health Institute Diploma or other professional body qualifications.

Responsibilities

You will work in the Food and Health and Safety Team in the Regulatory Services Section, you will be required to undertake the full range of food law activities, occupational health and safety interventions, and responding to licensing applications.

The Individual

  • You will have general experience in all fields of Environmental Health preferably with specialist knowledge in food safety and health and safety.
  • You will have good communication skills (both oral and written) and good computer and presentation skills.
  • You will have the ability to work as part of a team, work on own initiative, work to deadlines with minimum supervision and the ability to deal methodically and innovatively with problems to achieve a positive outcome.
  • You will be willing to work varied and flexible hours as and when required.
  • A full driving licence is required.
